Severstal-metiz, jointly with Redaelli, its subsidiary, participated in Neftegaz 2010, the specialised international trade show that took place from June 21 to 25 in Moscow
Severstal-metiz’s display focused mainly on the Company's latest producuts, namely specialty wire rope for oil and gas production (technical specifications TU 072, 049, 064, 061, 051). These products’ specifications significantly exceed those of traditionally used standard products in terms of durability, resistance to complex load, endurance and flexibility. Additionally, the Company presented new Redaelli products (Pack1, Pack1P, Paсk 1T for hoisting cranes, multistrand wire rope Red9, Pack 9, Pack9, spin-resistant wire rope Iperflex, Flexplast and gigantic Flexpack designed for offshore oil and gas production) to visitors at the trade show. Visitors were also particularly interested in the Company’s mounting hardware (bolts and nuts with various coating types, locking pins, spacers and rivets), steel shaped sections and steel wire fiber.
Oleg Veter, CEO of the Severstal-metiz Group of Companies commented:
“Our participation in the trade show was a resounding success. During the event, the Company’s experts held negotiations with the leading manufacturers of onshore drilling rigs (Uralmash, Integra, Volgograd Drilling Equipment Plant), and engineering companies in relation to the use of wire rope in sea projects, and met customers who were already using new wire rope produced by Severstal-metiz. In addition, we developed our relationships with distributors and construction companies for supply of fiber, and technical assistance in its utilization”
Innotrans-2010 will be the next trade show Severstal-metiz will participate in. It will be held on September 21-24 in Berlin and will be dedicated to the development of railway infrastructure and tunnel construction.
